post-move. mostly - 2001-12-10 11:34 a.m.

we moved into our new digs last night. it's a bit cold and empty now, but it shall fill up soon. off to ikea tonight for affordable furniture and accesories that will subtly reflect our lifestyle choices. ugh.

but don't get me wrong, i think ikea is the shit. i'm just bitter cause i can't afford most of the stuff there. maybe i'll buy a fork. that's about my budget.

last night we moved our stuff in, unpacked a bit, and sat on the wooden floor and played nintendo with tv propped up on the chair left behind by the previous tenant. and we ate soup.

and in a feat of engineering genius, my dad and i fit a futon frame and matress, two garbage bags full of clothes, a guitar and all of our stuff in a car with enough room for jnet, dad and i. woo woooo!!

right now i'm all about super furry animals. AGAIN. sorry, i'm full fledged obsessed now.

jnets fault for giving me the new album for my burthday. props to net!

anyways, back to work. i leave early today to finish moving my crepp. i still have a backpack full of stuff at my old place.
