mid-years resolution - 2008-07-14 12:06 a.m.

i'm very frustrated with music lately.

the urge to sever all ties and start fresh is especially strong.

it would be very satisfying, kind of like shaving your head instead of giving yourself a patient trim.

oh yeah i started cutting my own hair a while ago.

i'm not very thorough, so there's a good chance i look a bit deranged on one side.

in the last seven days i have met jeff mangum from neutral milk hotel, ?uestlove from the roots and the batmobile and batbike from the upcoming batmovie.

they were all very nice. the batbike was kind of an asshole though.

my mid-year resolution is to be a good drummer by new years.
so far it has been 1 month. i am still terrible. give me time, motherfuckers. give me time.
