oh man, i've been addicted to warmoth.com for about, oh.... two years now. it's a custom guitar shop run out of washington state where they basically make anything you want. i just go there and browse, and occasionally make whimpering noises when i think about building my dream bass.

the day they started doing competition stripes i almost got a hard on.

anyways, the point of all this is that (for about the seventh time), i priced out exactly how much it will cost to make said "perfect bass".

it came in at about $1000 canadian, if i go and get it in person.

now i'm all drooly and feverish trying to find a way to justify flying out to b.c., driving down to seattle and picking it up.

but i'm way past that.

in my mind, i'm already trying to convince the airline that a disassembled bass is acceptable as carry-on. come on, it's in a BACKPACK.
